Supporting vulnerable children

Through our dedicated programmes, we aim to alleviate hardships for children in need, fostering a sense of belonging and hope for their futures. For disadvantaged students, we help fulfil their aspirations, enabling them to acquire degrees and become valuable assets to STEM industries both locally and abroad. This also benefits local STEM-related industries by providing homegrown, qualified personnel.
Children's welfare programme
Our primary focus is on identifying and safeguarding children who are rough sleeping and homeless in the Beckenham area. Working closely with the local Safer Neighbourhood Police for robust safeguarding, our vetted volunteers guide these vulnerable children to secure, designated safe accommodations that partner with the Foundation. We aim to alleviate their immediate hardships by providing shelter, clothing, and food, fostering a sense of belonging and hope for their future. This initial support helps them find stability and a sense of belonging.
STEM education sponsorship
We actively collaborate with secondary schools to identify students with high potential for university study, particularly in STEM-related degrees. Understanding the financial barriers, we provide crucial support to cover tuition fees and alleviate the burden of expensive student loans. Our goal is to enable these disadvantaged students to achieve their academic aspirations, contributing to the local and global STEM industries with homegrown, qualified personnel. This empowers individuals and strengthens our economy.
